About Dot's Recycling:
Karen Hoyer has been performing as Dot for years but she's a not-so-secret crafter who grew up with her dad's philosophy of "this'll come in handy someday..." and RECYCLING is her craft of choice. Bits of wood and leftover sock yarn have been crafted into a whole flock of decorative birds knitted with the smallest of needles. She recycles plastic bags into PLARN (plastic yarn) and happily crochets away until she has a collection of baskets and bags! She loves the faded patina of old blue jeans -- so what can they become? Wonderful aprons, useful containers, and stylish handbags. Besides being earth friendly and frugal, we think these items are ideal gifts for anyone who needs a useful item, a touch of beauty, a word of quirky advice, or a reassuring token of love and friendship. Visit Dot's Recycling on Etsy and find out more about on her website www.KarenHoyer.com
