To honor Black history month, we will be learning from the Dunn Museum, Through Darkness to Light: Photographs Along the Underground Railroad exhibition. This series of photographs helps us imagine what the long road to freedom may have looked like as seen by those who made the epic journey. The Dunn Museum collects, preserves, and interprets the material culture of Lake County, Illinois, and provides captivating educational experiences for the benefit of every Lake County resident.
