About The Glass Station:

I’ve enjoyed making things from an early age, but in high school I took a jewelry design class that exposed me to some fantastic equipment and kicked my passion to create up a notch – well, several notches. As a young adult there seemed to be an unwritten rule that one had to work a desk job to make a living, and that’s what I did. Still, I explored working in numerous media as a much-needed creative release in my free time, until finding my passion in 2001: melting glass. This brought me back to jewelry design and, in an attempt to break out from a well-saturated jewelry market, I began making functional items for the home. Early on I sold to friends and acquaintances, often a pair of earrings or a necklace I was wearing; later I participated in a few local shows. In 2007 I rented my first space within a local store to serve as a permanent retail presence, and in 2012 I left my desk job for good to follow my passion. I take great pride in doing high quality work, using only the finest materials and paying exceptional attention to necessary details that often go unnoticed. Please be assured that when you shop with me you are getting a quality product for an incredibly fair price.
