About Sally Stone:

I’m a lifelong student of nature, whose profound beauty and complex ecology is a classroom for the soul. I believe the elegance of nature’s ecosystems provides a blueprint for living a holistic, harmonious life.
Each creature, each leaf singing in the breeze, each billowing cloud, glittering star, and unique flower belong to the community and convey a message for how to live wisely. Butterflies teach us about the beauty of change, flowers teach us to bloom and be ourselves, squirrels teach us to save for a rainy day, birds show us how to softly line our nests, bees teach us to find the nectar, the sun shows us how to shine, and sunsets show us how to be colorful and unique.
I’ve always loved the outdoors, and spent my childhood digging up worms, playing in fields, and watching caterpillars change into butterflies and moths. My dad took us camping near state parks. My mom taught me to be still, so the birds would come. Enchanting moments in nature draw me in again and again to experience her profound beauty and magic.
At any age, Nature, the master teacher, calms the mind and awakens the spirit.
