In this solo exhibition of recent drawings, prints, paintings, and sculptures, Kristina Paabus examines the everyday structures that mediate our interactions and inform our perceptions. Paabus's work elaborates on constructions that allow us to interact with, and attempt to gain control over, our surroundings. These specific systems, such as language, architecture, and time, dictate relationships and serve as guides to expose the complexity of both the individual and group experience. Brushwood. Free. No registration required. Exhibition runs November 4 - December 21, 2012.
