FEATURING WORK BY AMORY LOVINS, JUDY HILL LOVINS,
CAROL ANTHONY, GREGORY LEON BAIRD, TED HAZELGROVE, AND JOHN WYLIE
Judy Hill Lovins is a photographic fine artist and designer who has counseled private and corporate art collectors for nearly five decades. She became a fine-art landscape photographer in 1971, and has traveled the world to document nature in all of its forms. Judy ran Aspen's longest-running gallery for nearly 30 years, and now donates art consulting services to nonprofits.
In 2007, Judy married Amory Lovins, co-founder and Chief Scientist of Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) and one of the most pivotal energy visonaries of our time. From the Pentagon to Wal-Mart, Amory has helped goverments and companies around the world transition to lower carbon, profitable business models. |
Photographic artistry is a shared passion of the Lovinses. Judy often joins Amory on international travels to photograph RMI's mission of advancing renewable energy worldwide. Through her work, Judy aims to inspire us to visit Earth's special places, and understand our role as stewards of nature's treasures.
Brushwood Center is honored to recognize this extraordinary environmental couple for their significant achievements in the world of nature at this year's Smith Nature Symposium & Benefit. Landscape photography by both Judy and Amory will be featured in Global Perspectives.
