Crescendo

Picture
I love the simplicity of this piece. It is a combination of two colors, sapphire blue and sage green - mixed with the blue to give it a turquoise hue. Another one of my “action” paintings, this image unfolded as I painted one side and when finished and turned over, I realized it was the “crescendo” to my exhibition. I could see my collaborator, Vladimir Kulenovic, raising his arms passionately, as he conducts an orchestra, his face, his body, immersed in the pulse of the music, as he feels the tempo of each instrument melding into the rhythm of the song. If only we could all physically feel the music, the colors, the joy of sound in our very being. That, to me, is the crescendo. I can feel it in beat of my heart.

Acrylic on Acrylic Reverse Painting, 23” x 26.”  Click here to inquire about purchasing this piece.
