Keep Austin Weird Earrings by Kindred Woodworks
Wedges of color and stripes find their way to the center of this feathered pattern of oak. While staying in Austin in an Airbnb affectionately called the Dome Home or Hobbit House, our entire family spent a week there relaxing and cooking and making fires in the fire pit. This piece of oak came directly from the property of the Hobbit House. I had called the host and asked if they had firewood for the pit or if we would have to go purchase some. Their reply was simply that there were several downed trees on the two plus acres already and that we should simply go out with a saw and slice what we needed?? cool. Keep it weird Austin. Keep it weird.
