About Anni Schwabe:
With an ‘I can make that’ attitude, Anni is self-taught in many facets of art. Among them are fiber arts, book binding, mixed media, collage, and lots of experimenting. It is thru all that experimenting that ideas are constantly being born. She teaches workshops at Art and Soul around the country.
Anni and her husband live in the Chicago suburbs. They have two grown children. This is Anni’s 26th year volunteering with a beloved 31-year-old Red-tailed hawk, and a wee Screech owl. After hand feeding these beautiful birds, she hikes 4+ miles of wooded trail. Nature and conservation play a huge role in her daily life and is often depicted in her art.
