About Annamalflakes
|
I am an educator, crafter, and animal enthusiast with a passion for fostering fascination in the natural world. These paths converge with nature-inspired snowflakes, I started exploring paper snowflake art in 2011 and never stopped! The designs are mostly inspired by animals, but I occasionally dabble in plants, instruments, and other interesting things.
I got started by making paper snowflakes with nail scissors and tiny hole punches to decorate offices of the zoos and museums where I worked. Today, I still use my paper snowflakes to begin, but add digital drawing, a laser cutter, and wood to make my snowflakes into durable ornaments, coasters, trivets, wreaths, and more. |
