Improving Your Backyard Habitat Virtual Presentation

 ​Learn how to use shrubs, trees, & native plants in all seasons, plus ways to improve habitat for birds, pollinators, other wildlife, and more in Riverwoods! Join this evening presentation with Peggy Simonsen, with Citizens for Conservation, and the Riverwoods Preservation Council.

Celebrating Citizens For Conservation’s 50th anniversary, Peggy will share important ways to use shrubs, trees, native plants in all seasons, water resources and earth-friendly practices to improve habitat for birds, pollinators and other useful critters. Peggy has been a volunteer with Citizens for Conservation for 16 years. She is currently chair of the Community Education Committee and on the Board of Directors, and former president of CFC. She has improved habitat in her yard with over 200 species of native plants.
