waterCOLOR skySCAPE
Join us for summer art at Ryerson Woods! Chicago art group everyOther meets outdoors bi-weekly to paint iconic urban scenes using watercolors. An exhibition of their recent works, waterCOLOR skySCAPE, opens with a reception from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2013 in Brushwood, the historic home at Ryerson Woods.
The group includes architects, designers, artists and a landscape architect. Artists showing works at the upcoming exhibition include: Jonathan Boyer, Becky Beyer Brofman, Phil Enquist, Pete Landon, Jim Law, Clemenstien Love, Debra McQueen, Peter Schaudt, Annabel Wheeler, Dan Wheeler, Stephen Wierzbowski, Lora Delestowicz-Wierzbowski and Cynthia Winter. The opening reception and art exhibition are open to the public. No admission or pre-registration is required.
Exhibition runs July 14 to August 30, 2013.
This exhibition is part of the “Year of the Skies” programming at Friends of Ryerson Woods, where a rich array of public programs and art exhibitions throughout the year are exploring air and weather, as well as the creatures that dwell in the magical blue expanse we call the sky.
