Kyle Boyer-HanksKyle Boyer-Hanks is an intern at Brushwood Center under the Department of Defense (DOD) SkillBridge program. Kyle assists in the planning, execution, and growth of Veteran programming. An Indiana native, he joined the United States Navy in 2014. Kyle served two deployments to the Arabian Gulf and Asian-Pacific areas of operation before becoming an instructor for the Navy in 2019. He later oversaw enhanced curriculum development and the effective delivery of instruction to over 2,000 service members. Having graduated from American Military University in 2022 with an associate’s degree in Business Administration, Kyle decided to pursue work in the nonprofit sector, aiming to give back to the community and impact peoples’ lives in a positive way. Kyle loves musical theatre, all things Drum Corps International, and spending time with his wife, their two sons, and dog, Molly.
