About Kathryn Haydon:
Two summers ago, award-winning writer Kathryn P. Haydon laced up her sneakers and walked to the lakeshore to write a poem. She wanted to capture with words Lake Michigan’s magnificent changes in mood, color, and texture over the four seasons of the year. Haydon continued to write from the same spot on the bluff for an entire year. Her resulting collection of poetry, Unsalted Blue Sunrise: Poems of Lake Michigan, will be available at Mother Earth Market and Kathryn will give an inspiring reading on Saturday at 11:30 am.
Readers have said that Unsalted Blue Sunrise “awakens your deep soul thinking.” People who rarely read poetry and expert poets alike love what’s inside. Readers report that Unsalted is catalyzing their own creative work. Former head of Alliance for the Great Lakes, Cameron Davis, wrote, “Artists like you, journalists, scientists, and so many others are what will save our amazing, magnificent, majestic Great Lakes.” Kathryn is an expert in creativity, problem solving, and in understanding outlier thinkers. Another of her books, The Non-Obvious Guide to Being More Creative, will also be available at the market. |
